Hebrews 4:16 NKJV - "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Commentary: My words will be so inadequate to comment in a meaningful way what this verse is saying! I wish to bring you a very clear presentation of this glorious passage that you will want to fall to your knees immediately and do exactly what this verse is saying! I write with a certain stress on my heart for I have seen in my own life the woeful inadequacy of my ministry because I have not recognized the POWERFUL IMPACT of this truth. Christian, God accepts you as He accepts His own Son! As surely as Jesus can come to His Father and pray, so He has called you to come "boldly" (Hebrews 4:16), and "confidently" (Ephesians 3:12) into the very throne room of God. And you can come knowing that Christ has already forgiven your sins; that He has already paid the price in full for your redemption; and, that He has already satisfied God's just demands for your sin to be judged! From God's point of view there is no need for you to feel "estranged from God." As surely as the prodigal son of Luke 15 was welcomed back into his father's arms and home so you and I are welcome into the arms of our Father in Heaven! Stop what you're doing and talk with your Father with all the confidence you have when you talk with your best friend! For of all the "best friends" you could have no one is more desirous of your company than your Father in Heaven! Take time to meet with Him and get to know Him all over again!
