Insights on Today's Reading

1 Chronicles 6 - This chapter focuses on the Tribe of Levi, their descendants, the sons of Aaron, the choir leaders, and the cities the Levites settled in.  Remember, the Levites were the priestly family of Israel and God had not given them any particular land to inherit.  Their "inheritance" was the privilege of serving God in the Tabernacle.

Yes, only one chapter today, but it's quite long.  Don't race through it.
