PRAYER THOUGHT: "Few Christians have anything but a vague idea of the power of prayer; fewer still have any experience of that power." E. M. Bounds
Hebrews 5:7 NKJV - "Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with vehement cries and tears..." If this isn't clear to you, the writer is talking about Jesus! Where are the prayer warriors of our day? Where are the saints who spend more time in their prayer closets or War Rooms than they do in their computer/TV rooms? When will we understand that God isn't calling for more casual praying? He's calling for "prayers and supplication with vehement cries and tears"! "Of all the duties enjoined by Christianity none is more essential and yet more neglected than prayer." Fenelon as quoted by Bounds If we want God to work in mighty ways then we need to get this clear: He wants us to engage in mighty praying!
