Psalm 32:2 NKJV - "Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit."

Commentary:

Bills paid off?  Owe nothing?  Nothing in your debit column?  Don't we all wish!!  More than likely we all have more debts than we wish.  Bills seem to mount up higher than our paycheck.  The more money we make the more in debt we become.  Vicious cycle.  How do we get out of debt?

Sorry.  I'm not dealing with that here!

But, there is a debt all of us owed and some still owe yet.  It's the debt of sin.  Romans 6:23a says, "The wages of sin is death..."  We entered this world in debt!  Our sins forced the death penalty on us because there was no way we could "pay the penalty" for our sins without being in hell forever.  Someone had to pay the debt for us and that Someone was Christ!

What David is saying in our Daily Verse is that the one who has confessed their sin to the Lord and has accepted the finished work of God's Redeemer to pay the penalty for that sin, that person is no longer accounted with their sin.  The debt has been paid and the sin taken away - John 1:29.

When you trust Christ as your Savior, He applies His payment for your sin to your account.  When God looks for any "debt" you owe, He sees the words, "Paid in Full!" stamped in your debit column!

Now, the question is:  Have your sin debts been paid off or are you still trying to find a way to handle that yourself?  Simply put - YOU CAN'T pay it off yourself!  Accept the payment from Christ and receive Him as your Savior.  More about this to come!
