Acts 15:11 NLT - "We believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus."
Commentary: "...saved...by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus" - this is probably the one clear distinction Christianity has over every other religion. All other "faiths" involve some kind of work to be done by their adherents who would "hope" that would "somehow" make them eligible for God's forgiveness and His willingness to let them into heaven. A Christian doesn't have to wonder or even hope for salvation "in the end." Christians know by the revealed Word of God that when they put their faith in Jesus Christ to be their personal Savior, that they have eternal life! 1 John 5:13 makes that clear as John wrote, "I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life." If someone asked you, "How do you know that you will be in heaven after you die?" would you depend on your good works to be good enough to make God let you into His home? Or would you clearly state that you have assurance of your heavenly home because you have been saved by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus? We are all saved by grace or we are NOT SAVED at all!
