Ephesians 3:21 NLT - "Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever!  Amen."

Commentary:

This appropriate verse closes out the first half of Ephesians.  God is glorified and will be glorified forever because of all that is revealed in His plan in these three chapters.  He has earned the right to be honored for His magnificent desire to unite all believers on earth, Jew and Gentile, into one Body.  He will work through this Body throughout eternity magnifying Himself in all of creation.  Though in a devotional style I don't concentrate on all the major doctrines taught in these chapters I have sought to highlight the omniscience and omnipotence of God seen in the working out of His plan and then I sought to show His wisdom in His choice of each one He has brought into His kingdom and adopted into His family.
The next section of Ephesians, starting in chapter 4 to the end of the letter, Paul will show the practical side of Bible doctrine by teaching how Christians should live in this world before entering God's glorious Heaven.  If you look at 2 Timothy 3:16,17 you will note there are four purposes for the Scriptures.  The primary two are the first and the fourth - teach the believer what they should know in order to teach the believer how they should live.  Ephesians 1-3 has shown what a believer should know, now chapters 4-6 will show how a believer should live.  Pay attention!
