Ephesians 3:12 NLT - "Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence."

Commentary:

In my personal walk with the Lord and especially over the past 16 years this has become one of the MAJOR VERSES of the Word of God that has meant LOADS to me.  I will try to briefly share why this is true, but I am already praying that you will immediately see that God has something here that should have a real impact on your life.
Are you welcome in God's presence?  Is He an "approachable" God to you?  When you pray can you sense His presence with you?  Or, do you feel God is distant?  Do you wonder if He even pays attention to your prayers?
Paul wants these believers to know that because God has brought them together to form His Body, the Church, He is intimately related to each believer.  He is CLOSE, APPROACHABLE, and ALWAYS ATTENTIVE to every child of His!  And this is true of EVERY believer from the moment of their salvation on through the entirety of their lives on this earth!
God gives all of His children the right and privilege to enjoy His presence at any time, all the time, in any place, and in any situation!  And He wants His children to come "boldly" and "confidently" before Him.
Many of you are familiar with the similar teaching in Hebrews 4:16, "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God."  He means what He says!  He is our Heavenly Father and He wants us to feel as confident with Him as we would be with our own earthly fathers!  What would you say if you knew your own children lived in fear of coming to you?  Sure, we can be grouchy and "out of sorts" once in a while but we still wouldn't want our kids to think they're not welcome!!
Please do your soul and spirit a favor - come to your Heavenly Father with a joyful confidence that He is glad to see you and He actually looks forward to spending time with you!  Now, reread the verse again and practice it!
