Proverbs 18:22 NKJV - "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord."
Of all that could be said about this verse I want to concentrate on the word "good." Genesis 2:18 - "And the Lord said, 'it is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.'" Of all that God did in creation the only thing He said that wasn't good was for a man not to have a wife. Our Daily Verse says the "good thing" that any man can find is finding a wife. Having a wife is God's way of "completing" a man. What God saw in the Garden of Eden is that a man was meant for human fellowship and God's idea of the closest kind of fellowship any man could have was the intimate fellowship with his wife. Not only does that allow for procreation and fulfilling God's plan to "...multiply and fill up the earth..." Genesis 1:28, but it also allows for a physical/emotional fulfillment for both the man and his wife which they couldn't have without marriage. When a man senses the need in his life to have a wife it is really a natural desire that God gave to all men. Going through life alone, is lonely! And many a man has testified that meeting the woman he would call his wife was one of the greatest decisions he ever made. So men, whenever you sense that you're lacking "something" in your life, it may not have anything to do with a "thing." It may very well be that God wants you to have a wife. Seek God for His guidance. As surely as God wanted Isaac to have a good wife in Rebekah, and as surely as God wanted Boaz to have a good wife in Ruth, so God will bring the right woman into a man's life. It may not happen quickly, but you can be sure God is still saying, "...it is not good for a man to be alone." If you're married, I trust you truly have found "a good thing."
