Isaiah 55:10 NKJV - "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater."
This may not be your favorite couple of "Daily Verses" but I've often commented on the value God has placed, even in the snow. I usually tell how the farmers in the Mohawk Valley in New York State used to tell me they were grateful for a good snowfall during the winter. They were assured of good crops in the Spring and Summer as a result.
Job 38:22 speaks of the "treasures in the snow" and Isaiah 55:10 tells you what those "treasures" bring: "seed to the sower and bread to the eater"! So, next time it snows in the winter, thank the Lord, for He is thinking of what you'll enjoy later in the year.
